April 19th, 2015
I am not a procrastinator by any means. In fact, when I get an idea in my head I don't think of anything else until it's done. However, I thought it would be fun to take a new approach to my website, update the design, and finally leave my long time CMS Drupal, and build this site in Statamic. I first had this idea and bought the Statamic license in January of 2015 and now in May of 2015 here we are, finally live. The delay was not because of Statamic, in fact, I love this CMS, it's as close as you can get to having a static HTML site while being database and template driven. Just the thought of it makes me smile cause it gives me more freedom to build interesting designs and templates without having to invest a lot of time into the builds. Special thanks to Justin Hough who walked me through the basics of Statamic and showed me the ropes as a Statamic rookie.
